A heartbreaking incident has rocked the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital in the Ashanti Region, where an 11-day-old baby girl has reportedly been stolen under disturbing circumstances.
According to the mother, Felicia Obenewaa Antwi, she briefly handed her newborn to a young woman she had met at the hospital so she could use the washroom. But when she returned, both the woman and her baby had disappeared.
Witnesses told Felicia that the lady was seen walking out of the hospital premises with the infant. The devastated mother says she is still struggling to process what happened.
Felicia has issued a desperate appeal to the public, urging anyone with information to help locate her missing daughter and immediately report to the nearest police station.
Hospital authorities and the police are yet to release an official statement, but investigations are said to be underway.
