Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested Adjei Owusu Afiriyie, 53, for allegedly selling sobolo and akpeteshie laced with suspected cannabis.
The arrest followed an operation at De-Vicky’s Pub, where police seized several barrels of akpeteshie, bottles of Alomo Bitters, and quantities of the suspected sobolo believed to be infused with the illicit substance.
The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations continue to establish the full circumstances surrounding the alleged activity.
