Gyankama Omankrado Calls on Government to Provide a Hospital for the Community

Nana Kwame Ofori-Koramoah, the Omankrado of Gyankama, has appealed to the government to support the community with a hospital or clinic to improve access to healthcare.
Speaking during Day 4 of the Gyankama Odwira Festival — which features free medical screening — he noted that the absence of a health facility in the area makes it difficult for residents to seek timely medical attention.
According to him, many people living in Gyankama are forced to travel to other towns for treatment, a challenge that often leads to delays in receiving essential healthcare.
He emphasized that a clinic or hospital in Gyankama would greatly assist the community, especially the elderly, children, and those without reliable transportation.
