“I Suffered, But I’m Strong Now” — TikTok Star Sheedon Breaks Silence on Life After Bawumia’s 2024 Election Loss

Popular TikTok sensation and outspoken NPP supporter Sheedon has finally opened up about the emotional rollercoaster she endured following Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s defeat in the 2024 presidential election.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, Sheedon recounted how the election period became one of the toughest moments of her life, both online and offline.

According to her, the trolling that came after Bawumia’s loss was relentless and brutal, with critics mocking her loyalty and dragging her across social media platforms—especially TikTok, where she had built her massive following.

“The insults were too much. Every day they were tagging me, laughing at me, saying all kinds of things. It wasn’t easy at all,” she admitted.

Despite the mockery, Sheedon said she remained firm because her political choice was based on conviction, not pressure or trend.
She revealed that the backlash even affected her mental and emotional well-being for a period—but she’s now in a much stronger place.

Sheedon also disclosed that while she supported Dr. Bawumia wholeheartedly during the campaign, she did not receive any special favours, contracts, or payments from the NPP or its leadership—contrary to the assumptions many made.

“I wasn’t paid by anyone. I did everything from my heart. People think influencers get money for these things, but I didn’t take a pesewa,” she clarified.

Today, she says she’s focused on rebuilding her peace, her brand, and her life—choosing to rise above negativity and concentrate on growth.

Her appearance on The Delay Show has since gone viral, sparking conversations on political fandom, influencer pressure, and the emotional toll of online trolling.
