Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Reunite for Daughter Blaze’s 6th Birthday Despite Breakup
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are proving that co-parenting comes first — even in the middle of a breakup.
Just a day after confirming their separation, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and her estranged husband reunited in Atlanta to celebrate their daughter Blaze’s 6th birthday. The former couple hosted a Snow White-themed party at Ready, Set, FUN! where little Blaze looked like a real-life princess in her gown.
Despite a highly emotional week, both Kandi and Todd were all smiles as they posed for photos with their daughter, showing a united front for her big day.
Both parents also shared heartfelt birthday posts on Instagram.
Kandi wrote:
“Happy birthday to my little twin @blazetucker!!! So strong, smart, talented, creative, big personality, & a winner! My beautiful little princess.”
Todd added:
“Happy Birthday to my Baby Blaze! She warms my heart every time I see her … Daddy loves you with all his heart!”
The celebration came just 24 hours after Kandi confirmed to TMZ that she and Todd are ending their marriage after 11 years.
She said:
“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. My focus remains on protecting my peace and co-parenting with love and respect.”
Sources close to the couple say the split has been amicable with “no drama,” revealing that they’ve been separated for months. Kandi has been spending most of her time in New York City for work, while Todd remains in Atlanta with the kids.
Kandi and Todd first met on RHOA in 2011, got engaged in 2013, and married in 2014.
