King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II Involved in Road Accident, Reported Safe

The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, is reported to be in stable condition following a road accident in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. at Pai-Katanga in the Oti Region as the King was returning to Accra from Tamale. Sources close to the palace indicate that he had travelled to the Northern Region on a private visit at the invitation of the Yaa Naa.

The visit was described as cordial and significant, forming part of ongoing engagements between traditional authorities to strengthen unity and mutual respect among Ghana’s revered institutions.

However, on his return journey, the Ga Mantse’s vehicle was involved in an accident. Fortunately, he escaped unhurt and remains in good spirits.

Personnel of the Ghana Police Service reportedly responded swiftly after being alerted to the scene.

While the exact circumstances of the accident are yet to be fully disclosed, the atmosphere at the palace is said to be one of relief and thanksgiving as the Ga Mantse continues to recover.
