Patricia Asiedua Asiamah (Nana Agradaa) Released After Eight Months in Custody

Former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, has been released from the Nsawam Prison after serving eight months in custody.
She has since reunited with her husband and family. Her husband, Asiamah, confirmed her return in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, writing: “Thank God my wife is finally home.”
Nana Agradaa is also expected to join members of her church later in the day for fellowship, marking her first public appearance since regaining her freedom.
She was initially sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment on July 3, 2025, after being convicted of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement. However, the Amasaman High Court later reviewed the ruling and reduced the sentence to 12 calendar months, describing the original punishment as harsh.
Her release follows Ghana’s standard remission policy after serving two-thirds of the revised sentence.
