The Minority Leader in the Parliament of Ghana, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has alleged that recruitment into Ghana’s security services has turned into a scam, urging applicants to exercise caution.
The Effutu Member of Parliament claimed that the process has become questionable and lacks credibility. According to him, he has personally advised some applicants in his constituency who had progressed to the medical stage of the recruitment process not to attend.
Afenyo-Markin further criticised the government for allegedly ignoring concerns raised by stakeholders regarding the integrity of the recruitment exercise.
His remarks have sparked conversations about transparency and fairness in the recruitment process for Ghana’s security services.
