Snapchat Drama Erupts Between Aba Dope and Naa Amerley After Kwatemaa Andoh’s Wedding

Entrepreneur Aba Dope and Snapchat influencer Naa Amerley Tetteh have found themselves at the centre of online attention following a series of emotionally charged Snapchat posts that surfaced after the wedding of Daniel Nana Owusu Bediako and Kwatemaa Andoh over the weekend.
Kwatemaa Andoh, the bride, was formerly a member of “The Geng” Snapchat group — a circle that also includes Naa Amerley. However, she later exited the group and chose to operate independently on the platform, a move that has since been linked by observers to underlying tensions within the group.
During the wedding ceremony, Aba Dope was spotted among the high-profile guests and was identified as one of the close friends of the bride. Shortly after the event, Aba Dope took to Snapchat to address what she described as growing online hostility and shading.
In her post, Aba Dope attempted to calm the situation, stating that there was no hatred towards Naa Amerley and her friends, while suggesting that ongoing shading from other individuals may have fueled public anger. She encouraged everyone involved to move forward peacefully.
However, Naa Amerley strongly rejected the olive branch. In a direct response, she made it clear that she does not consider Aba Dope her friend, accusing her of pretending and urging her to “keep the same energy,” referencing unresolved past issues between them.
Naa Amerley also addressed broader accusations and trolling directed at her online, particularly claims surrounding her “feed the street” initiative. She defended the project, explaining that it is fully self-funded and motivated by her love for cooking and community service, dismissing allegations that the initiative is linked to superstition or harmful agendas.
Expressing emotional distress, she condemned what she described as lies, insults, and deliberate misinformation spread against her and her friends, reminding critics that there is a real human being behind the screen. She concluded by stating that she would leave judgment to God.
The exchange has since sparked mixed reactions on Snapchat, with followers debating loyalty, friendship, and the pressures of public life on social media personalities.
